Rashad’s work often comments on the nature of observation. What does it mean to capture and be captured? What is the difference between being in the shadow versus the light? His work is an answer to these philosophical musings. Rashad’s work is heavily influenced by Miami’s waves and the hum of its southern sun. His origins are never too far removed as his photography often bathes his figures in colorful hues.
